“We camped here based on reviews from this website and we were not disappointed.
Having camped all over the country for over 20 years we can say one thing for sure about
this one…it is very unique. You are not just “near” the river, you are right on it. It is really
neat to watch all the river traffic chugging up and down the river. There is certainly no road
noise, but you do hear the tugboats. The office staff was very friendly and the park was
very nice. Concrete pads, full hookups, and yes, a FREE laundromat. We will stay there
again when passing through. We camped here in a Motorhome.”

What I Liked
We liked the location, it was scary at first going through West Memphis, but once we got
there we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We stayed twice over the past six months and
would stay again. Enjoyed watching the river traffic, very relaxing!!
What I Disliked
Nothing to dislike, employees are very accommodating. If there was a problem, they
addressed it as soon as possible. They are making daily improvements, so watch for things
just to get better. -Larry L. from SD

We found a great place to stay in Memphis. Well, it’s not actually in Memphis; it’s in West
Memphis, Arkansas (just across the mighty Mississippi). Take the last exit before the river
if you’re heading east on I 40, or the first on the west bank if you’re heading west. This park
is amazing.

If you’ve never seen the Mississippi in all its glory, you’ll be staying literally 30 yards from
the grand Old Muddy, and the traffic on the river is truly magnificent. When we pulled into
our spot there was a train of river barges at least a half mile long. It was fascinating. In
talking to a few of our fellow campers, they all had planned on staying just the night, but
this park changed their minds. One couple had never seen Graceland, and they planned to
spend a few more days to enjoy Memphis. The river, simply put, is magnificent. It is right
up there with Custer National Park and the Great Smokey Mountains. A Must see!!!! And don’t
forget, you’re just minutes from the Home of the Blues, and the best dry ribs
anywhere. Enjoy the New RV Park Experience.
